AIDS Walk Re-Routed!
Due to the Closing of the Sherman Minton Bridge
the Louisville AIDS Walk Will Re-Routed.
Hurricane winds blow through our city, rivers rise, and yes bridges do crack- however, the Louisville AIDS Walk will carry on as scheduled Sept. 25, 2011, with one small change.
Due to the closing of the Sherman Minton Bridge and the subsequent traffic detours we will no longer be able to walk across the Second Street Bridge as planned. The new route hasn’t been finalized, as soon as it is we will announce the changes; please check the Louisville AIDS Walk’s website for updates. The pre-walk events and festivities will still take place on the Belvedere. Thank you for your flexibility and continued support of the Louisville AIDS Walk.
Step Out and Bring Hope!
Join us on Sunday, September 25, 2011 as we commemorate 19 years of raising funds and awareness for HIV/AIDS.
