Step Out and Bring Hope! Join us at the Louisville AIDS Walk and Pet Walk, Kentucky's largest annual HIV/AIDS awareness and fundraising event. Join us on as we raise funds and awareness for HIV/AIDS. Each year, thousands of Louisville and Southern Indiana residents from all walks of life flock to the Waterfont to walk in support of those infected and affected, to honor the memory of those lost, and to renew their commitment to the local fight against HIV/AIDS.
Sunday, October 13, 2013 on The Great Lawn at Waterfront Park (231 Witherspoon, Louisville KY 40202) The Walk will begin and end on The Great Lawn. Participants will enjoy scenic views of the Ohio River as they walk the 3.2 Kilometer, 2 mile course through and around beautiful Waterfront Park.

Start Times and What to
Expect.
It all starts at 12:00pm with a variety
of live entertainment, special guests, food, beverages, onsite
registration, Team Photos, Paws for a Cause Pet Walk features, a
KidZone with costumed characters, inflatables, face painting and
cotton candy!
The Louisville AIDS Walk and Pet Walk kicks off at
3:00pm with a ribbon cutting. Join us back on
The Great Lawn at 4:00pm when we announce our
preliminary total raised and celebrate!
Cost.
There is no cost to participate in the Walk and
Pet Walk. We just ask you to seek pledges from family, friends,
and co-workers to help in the local fight against HIV/AIDS.

AIDS Services Center Coalition, Inc., doing business as

Contributions are tax deductible to the extent permitted by law.
Donations are accepted on a calendar year basis so any
contribution received from January 1st until December 31st will
count towards that year's AIDS Walk. We are proud to a
Better Business Bureau Accredited Charity having met all 20 of
their Wise Standards for Charitable Giving.
Where the money goes.
Funds raised support client services such
as: food, housing, medical care, medication co-pay assistance,
children’s programs, life skills educational workshops,
counseling, legal assistance, public transportation to and from
medical appointments, monthly fellowship dinners, and a summer
camp for kids who are infected and affected by HIV/AIDS. With
medical advancements, people with HIV/AIDS are living longer
which translates to an increased need for these services. Your donation helps people who are served by multiple
organizations. Past Walk recipient organizations include: AIM of
Kentuckiana, Inc., Camp Heart to Heart, Family and Children
First, HIV/AIDS Legal Project of the Legal Aid Society, Hoosier
Hills AIDS Coalition, House of Ruth, Saint William's Center,
Louisville/Jefferson County Minority AIDS Program, Louisville
AIDS Resource Center, S.A.B.S.A. (Sisters and Brothers Surviving
AIDS), Tri-County Health Coalition of Southern Indiana,
Volunteers of America and the 550 Clinic (WINGS HIV Medical
Clinic).
