About The Walk
The Louisville AIDS Walk unites the community, heightens awareness of HIV/AIDS and raises money to address the needs of those in our community with HIV/AIDS. Thanks to the generosity of our corporate sponsors and hard work of our volunteers, 100% of the Walk's proceeds are distributed to local AIDS organizations providing critical services to people with HIV/AIDS.
A tax deductible contribution to the Louisville AIDS Walk is an investment in caring.
Since 1993, the Louisville AIDS Walk has supported programs serving thousands of people in this community. Those funds have improved the quality of life for individuals affected by the HIV virus. The Walk is made possible each year by the efforts of hundreds of volunteers under the oversight of the AIDS Services Center Coalition, Inc., a local, not-for-profit organization dedicated to AIDS services and education.
Louisville AIDS Walk Mission Statement: "To Raise Awareness and Funds for local HIV/AIDS Service Organizations through education, marketing and promotional activities and through participation of walkers and volunteers in a safe, fun, educational event."
